Continual improvement for social responsibility by Six Sigma.
- Access a underperforming function (high COGS cost or so)
- Plan a change to that function (people, process, technology) and identify a expected value outcome
- Optimize it with a program of change (PMO, IT project)
- Measure the result and re-vector / repeat until marginal rate of return no longer reached
The MIT CISR model is a formal representation of this basic process. Remember that the process is often messier than this, but a high performance IT organization will still follow the steps and achieve higher value per investment unit.<< Back to list all models
